Jayden Year 4 Part 2: The Adventures Continue

Finally... Continuing with my earlier post, Jayden Year 4 Part 1, which I posted in Nov last year. Here’re the rest of his adventures. I know it’s 5 months late, but heck, what can I do? The workload is unimaginable, the friggin hard disk holding all the photos crashed (and I’m still not done recovering all the data)… and a whole load of other issues, sigh…

A Dark Day in Paradise

Leaving a small tribute to the many innocent lives lost in the insane mosque shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand.

It is a sick attack on defenceless men, women and children, in a peace-loving country that has kept away from the atrocities of the world. I don’t know why he did it, but he deserves the death penalty, if there was one in NZ, and I hope he rots in hell.

As for those who are no longer with us, …God bless them and their loved ones, …Make it easy for those who are still with us, to continue with hope and love…

Putting some photos of the South Island, NZ. These are from the closest place we’ve ever got to Christchurch itself. The South Island is a beautiful place, which has retained much of its natural, unspoilt environment, with a small population. A paradise on earth, I'd say. It’s the last place I think, anyone would attack, being so far away from the rest of the world. …But even this place, didn’t escape the madness that’s going around in the world. Sad.

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone!!! I know it’s late, but what the heck, CNY is 15 days long, right? Hope everyone has had a terrific time (and not only getting drunk and gambling till dawn, ahem)…

As for yours truly, and the family here, we had a great time as well. This time, Anu swore not to cook too grand a feast for the Reunion. She even cancelled two dishes at the last minute. We finally ended up with only …13 dishes!?!? For our family of 4 and our 1 niece in Dubai. (Last year it was 11 dishes). And I had only one measly day off (even though I’m working for a Chinese company, …but that’s still better than non-Chinese, who had none!)

Anyway, the CNY photos will have to wait (till I download them). For the time being, here’re some photos of Penang, or more precisely, the Kek Lok Si Temple of Ayer Itam, Penang which I’ve saved in the laptop a long time back, just for times like these, when there’s hardly any time to do anything personal (I’ve not posted on FB for nearly a year now, and Twitter, ummm... since time immemorial), and when photos are still being recovered from the blasted hard disk drive which crashed!
