Photos of Festivals Past

November’s been really busy… on the home front. Celebrated Diwali, and our anniversary, at home. (Where else, in these COVD times!?) A spate of exams are coming up for the kids, so we’ve intensified our nagging. But, it doesn’t seem to have any effect, especially on the little one. They’ll always choose the bloody gadgets over any other thing! Also started online Chinese classes for the kids. Hope to at least continue acquainting them to the sounds. Justin already knows a little, but had not gone to classes for 1.5 years now, and with languages, if you don’t use ‘em, you lose ‘em. Same problem with Arabic. It’s in their friggin syllabus, but they don’t seem to be going anywhere with it. It’s only English, English, and English…

COVID’s still winning over everything, and doesn’t look like it’s going away at all, and it’s almost the end of 2020 now! My Project’s completed (more or less), and am waiting for a new project to materialize (fingers-crossed). Many companies, including major construction companies in the UAE, are in trouble. Some have closed down. Hope we survive. Also, although there’s a strong chance of getting annual leaves approved at this time, there’s no chance of going abroad on holiday (due to friggin COVID). What the heck! Might as well post some photos of festivals celebrated at home… last year (coz I’ve not downloaded this year’s yet, hehehe). Looking back, it's more than a year now since we moved into our ‘new’ home in MotorCity. We moved in August 2019!
